Conversations with a 6yr old while playing a Lego adventure game made up by said 6yr old:
Me: Right, so there’s the king, and the hobbit, and the knight.
6: Golden Knight
Me: Golden Knight, and the Miniature guy, and Death, and the Spiderman, and Spiderman hiding in the clone trooper helmet.
6: Yes, he’s in disguise.
Me: Who is the guy on the skeleton horse?
6: He’s a warrior.
Me: Ok, he should be Death.
6: No, this guy is death. (Holds up character in Musketeer’s hat complete with plume and what was likely the rest of Anakin Skywalker’s body.)
Me (not one to give up on the opportunity to make classical personifications out of Legos): Ok, you have a skeleton horse, we just need to put the skeleton guy on him and find a black robe.
6: Uh, no
Me: Why not?
6: He doesn’t have the appropriate shoes.
