Hey, this isn’t really about us, but if you need to know… we’re a couple of 40ish parents with 2 small boys. We are working professionals in fields that lend themselves to traveling during the summer. We like good food, good music, and good fun.

We post as MOMVENTURE and DADVENTURE, but our real names are Tara and Aaron. We have 2 boys, you may see their pictures here from time to time, but their names will be their own until they decided to share them with the world.

Tara is a professor and Aaron works at a makerspace, does game design, web work, and whatever else happens to come along. We decided to do this blog as part of preparation for a large trip we’re taking in 2016. This trip has morphed from a 2 week western exploration into a near summer long expedition, but more about that in the Adventure Log.
